This past Fourth of July weekend, Majolica introduced its Sunday Brunch offering to Chester County’s food scene. First timers were able to get a glimpse into the creative processes of the always-evolving brunch offerings of Majolica as they are conceived, cooked and served — all with the Chef Andrew Deery twist!
Join the Bridge Street-based restaurant every Sunday morning from 11am to 1pm to watch Deery’s kitchen magic evolve right before your eyes. The four-course offering is found at a value of $28 per person and includes a complimentary mimosa, virgin bloody mary and Majolica’s signature blend of fresh coffee!
Additional New Offerings of Majolica
Photographer Nathan Laing, whose work is currently featured on the walls of Majolica, hosted an artist’s reception at the restaurant on June 26 with more than one hundred people in attendance.
While attendees perused his thought provoking and beautiful art, they also got the opportunity to sample “bites” of above-mentioned brunch menu.
Laing has created a “Majolica Series” of intimate photographs of the restaurant that have taken the form of note cards and postcards. These frameable samples of the artist’s work make unique invitations, thank-you notes and are available at Majolica in packs of four for $10 each.
Over the last several months, tasting menus have seen a resurgence in popularity at Majolica — which is said to make “the chefs happy and stirs their creative juices to create even more amazing cuisine ensembles.”
There are several ways to enjoy Majolica’s Tasting Menus:
- One is to let the chef chose your menu and enjoy each surprise course.
- Another, with reasonable advance notification, is to select an all vegetable, all meat or all seafood Tasting Menu for your party.
Whichever choice you make, you can choose between a six course ($55) or an eight course ($75) offering plus tax and gratuity. (To peek at an example of a Majolica tasting menu, click here.)
By selecting the tasting menu, it is revealed that “patrons allow the chef to be at his creative best and they experience a collection of courses that compliment one another perfectly!” So, next time you try Majolica, get creative and don’t hesitate to tackle Deery’s Tasting Menu!
