Gilmore’s Restaurant Introduces Sunday Brunch, a New Manager and an Upcoming Wine Course

Chef Peter Gilmore of the award-winning Gilmore’s Restaurant just recently revealed several changes occurring at his East Gay Street spot.

As of this Sunday, Oct. 23, the chef will debut his offering of Sunday Brunch (full menu below), available each week from 10 am to 2 pm. The mouthwatering menu features highlights like caramelized apple oatmeal, puff pastry “pizza” served with Asiago cheese and seared foie gras and even, duck confit with pear ginger chutney and port sauce.

Additional enhancements found most recently in-house at Gilmore’s includes the welcoming of new manager Mickael Decoker. Decoker, from Marseille, France, is an incredible addition to the Gilmore’s staff as he brings an extensive wine knowledge to the table, having received a sommelier degree in Avignon, France.

Also note that Gilmore’s will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays from now on, as they will be introducing a wine class on Tuesdays beginning November 1st. The premiering course will highlight wines of Provence and will be paired with a Provencal menu. Cost of the class is $50 per person.
