A brand-new breakfast and lunch spot is coming to West Chester this week! Roots Cafe, found at 8 West Gay Street, focuses on fresh, eco-friendly and sustainable foods sourced from nearby farms.
A peek at the menu reveals an impressive roundup of casual options, including signature sandwiches like the Marnier (hand breaded, fresh piece of cod, pan-fried and topped with American cheese, lettuce, spicy mayo) and the ALT (avocado, lettuce, fried tomato), young organic greens topped with an array crowd-pleasers and even, omelets and egg scramblers.
Open every day from 7am to 3pm, Roots also has breakfast and lunch specials (click here for details) and if you are a WCU student, present your ID and nab a free small coffee with purchase. What’s even better is that Roots Cafe makes use of only biodegradable and recycled containers for to-go food, making you feel good about not only the food you eat, but also what it is being carried in!
