Join the region’s philanthropic leaders, donors and trustees for a special event focusing on how the Philadelphia region is among the most progressive places in the country addressing critical food-related issues and needs, especially increasing access to healthy and nutritional foods for our most vulnerable citizens. The event, Appetite for Change, is an opportunity for donors and foundation trustees to learn about critical food-related issues and possible solutions.
Taking shape on June 27 at 4:30pm, Appetite for Change will host featured guests including Phillies pitcher Brad Lidge and his wife Lindsay, who will talk about their Strike Out Hunger initiative. They will share their story about why and how they personally support critical food-related issues.
Their talk will be followed by a conversation highlighting regional needs and initiatives aimed at improving food production, food access and nutrition.
Panelists will include the following:

- Laquanda Dobson, Youth Advisor, Philadelphia Urban Food & Fitness Alliance
