CELEBRATE SPRING AT HISTORIC SUGARTOWN DAY

SATURDAY, APRIL 26, 11AM-5: 30PM
Historic Sugartown Day is celebrating its fifth year, and promises to be the best yet!  On Saturday, April 26, this crossroads village magically comes alive to celebrate spring.  Located in Malvern, visitors will enjoy this year’s attractions including a Fine Arts Show, a Juried Craft Show, carriage rides, and dog agility and retriever demonstration trials.  As always, this family-fun event includes a Children’s Tent, tours through the renovated buildings, lectures, restoration demonstrations, and of course, great food and music!

New to the event is the Fine Arts Show exhibiting a variety of medias including painting, pastel, photography, sculpture and mixed media, with an emphasis on traditional images exemplifying beautiful Chester County.  Various fine artists will be at the event displaying and selling their work. Another main attraction is a Juried Craft Show where a variety of crafters, both local and from out-of-town, will be selling jewelry, antiques, hats, bags, and much more!  These shows will be held in the firehouse, tents, and the restored Garrett House.

“This year’s festival has the largest variety of activities that we’ve  ever had,” says Joy Hartshorn, Committee Chairwoman for Historic Sugartown Day.  “We are very excited to be holding the Fine Arts Show and Juried Craft Show.  There will be something to catch everyone’s interest at this year’s Historic Sugartown Day.”

Sugartown is at the intersection of Sugartown, Boot and Spring Roads.  Parking for the festival will be on Spring Road.  Follow the yellow signs to the event.
