CHADDSFORD WINERY CELEBRATES THE SEASON

CHADDSFORD WINERY CELEBRATES THE SEASON

WITH ‘SUMMER NIGHTS UNDER THE STARS’ CONCERT SERIES,

MEMORIAL DAY BLUES FEST, FOURTH OF JULY BBQ, AND SANGRIA SUNDAYS

CHADDSFORD, PA – Whether bluegrass or blues, classic soul or classic rock, Chaddsford Winery (632 Baltimore Pike; 610-388-6221) has a concert scheduled this summer to cater to every kind of music fan.

For revelers looking to make a day-trip, Chaddsford offers two exciting weekend-long events this summer.  On May 24, 25 and 26, the winery will host their annual Memorial Day Weekend Brandywine River Blues Festival.  Admission to the three-day festival is $20 per person per day, and includes wine tastings, a souvenir wine glass and both of the day’s concerts.

On July 4, 5 and 6, guests can celebrate America’s birthday with a Fourth of July Backyard BBQ.  The event is a collaboration with the other wineries along the Brandywine Valley Wine Trail and includes multiple concerts and an outdoor barbecue; admission to the concerts for this weekend varies.  More July 4 information is available at www.bvwinetrail.com, and a list of bands participating in all three event series this season appears below.

“Wine and music are both such wonderful ways to unwind after a long week,” says Winery Proprietor Lee Miller, “and by combining them in a festive outdoor setting, we’ve created a Friday night escape that everyone can enjoy.”

Every Friday night beginning May 30, from 6:30 till 9:30 p.m., the winery invites revelers to pack a picnic, pick up a bottle of wine and relax on their scenic grounds while they enjoy the sounds of live music from a hugely diverse line-up of performers.  Tickets to the concerts are $20 per person; reservations are recommended, as many of the concerts sell out in advance.

Chaddsford Winery is Pennsylvania’s premiere winery.  In addition to the winery and its retail locations, Chaddsford wines are available at Wine & Spirit Shoppes throughout Pennsylvania and in select wine stores in Delaware and Maryland.  For more information on current wine releases and other exciting summer events, like Sangria Sundays, please call the winery directly at (610) 388-6221 or visit their website at www.chaddsford.com.
