MEMBERSHIP PARTY CELEBRATES MERGER OF HISTORIC YELLOW SPRINGS AND CHESTER SPRINGS STUDIO

The annual membership gathering at Yellow Springs will be particularly festive on March 29 as it will be the first social event in which the two newly merged organizations will participate as one. The party is scheduled from 6:30 to 10 p.m. in the Washington Building in the village of Yellow Springs.
Known as the Mem“Brew”ship Party, area micro breweries will be showing off their popular wares. Participating breweries include Dogfish Head, Lancaster Brewing, Legacy, Magic Hat, Philadelphia Brewing Company, Sly Fox, Victory Brewing and Weyerbacher and Yards Brewing. Wine tasting with Hudson Austin of Wine Merchant, Ltd. is also featured.
A delicious assortment of hors d’ oeuvres and sandwiches will be offered by America Bar and Grill, Brickside Grille, The Drafting Room Tap Room and Grille, and Victory Brewing. Returning by popular request is the usical group “Echo”.
“We are looking forward to a great turnout again this year. Even though our membership has doubled with the merger, there are plenty of opportunities for new members to become involved in this vital organization”, said Rob Lukens, Executive Director of Historic Yellow Springs. “My belief is events like this party will bond the two groups together for a very bright future”, Lukens said.
The party is open free to current members of Historic Yellow Springs and Chester Springs Studio 21 years and older. For non members, simply purchase a $30 individual membership or $50 family membership (for two adults in the same household). A one year membership in Historic Yellow Springs plus an Art Show poster is included in the price. Those attending are requested to R.S.V.P. no later than March 21 by calling (610) 827-7414, extension 10 or emailing [email protected]. Corporate sponsor for this year’s membership party is First Resource Bank. The village of Yellow Springs is located off Route 113 in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania.
