Firecreek Jazzes Up Downingtown with World-Class Musicians

Jazz lovers near and far…listen up!

Firecreek Restaurant has begun hosting live jazz nights with world-class artists every Thursday from 6-9 pm; revolutionizing Jazz in Downingtown.

There’s nothing else in the area like this. Check it out once and you’ll be back each week. Firecreek has already hosted renowned musicians such as the First Choice Duo, the Andrew Neu Trio and Larry McKenna.

You no longer have to travel into Center City for amazing Jazz. In fact, we’re guessing the urbanites might start making some trips to Downingtown!

· December 10, 2009 SARA PHELAN
Sara has performed in the Bucks County Play House, The State Theater of Pennsylvania and has sung with the Saint Cornelius Praise Band for over eleven years. Sara has fallen in love with Jazz and Blues – a perfect venue for her rich, sultry voice. Sara is a favorite at the Firecreek Restaurant and appears regularly on Thursday evenings.

· December 17, 2009 TOM ADAMS
Tom Adams has appeared with such artists as: Bette Midler, Anita O’Day, Coolio, Jewel, Keely Smith, Linda Hopkins, Petula Clark, and Mel Torme. Three CD’s were added to his discography with the release of the Casablanca Records “Jazz Baby” Series, which includes four performances with long-time writing partner, Cybill Shepherd. Tom’s piano work was frequently heard on the highly acclaimed CBS sitcom, “Cybill”. He has contributed to recordings such as Ernestine Anderson’s Grammy- Nominated release, “Now and Then” and other industry credits include the Universal film “Happy Gilmore.” As a vocalist, he has been heard on The Osbournes, MTV’s Newlyweds, and has performed many times on “The Tonight Show”.
