CASUAL DINING IN OUR NEW BAR, OUTDOOR PATIO AND UPSTAIRS WINE LOUNGE
Savona has been remodeled and is now accepting reservations for both formal and casual dining. Formal dining will be offered on the main floor while a new casual menu will be offered in the bar, on the outdoor patio and in the upstairs wine lounge. The entire restaurant has been renovated by LA restaurant and hotel designer, Ann Marie Vering. Vering applied a natural “tailored” approach using earthy fibers, fabrics, leather, wood, stone, water and fire to create luxurious formal dining rooms and a hip bar and patio speaking “casual sophistication.” It’s gorgeous!!!
Both menus will share Savona’s philosophy of using the highest quality ingredients available and preparing them simply to profile their natural flavor intensity. At BARSAVONA, Executive Chef Andrew Masciangelo has gone back to his roots to create a soulful seasonally-inspired regional Italian menu. The menu will focus on farm-fresh ingredients with clean, earthy flavors, that pay homage to Masciangelo’s Abruzzese heritage. Just-picked produce from local farms, hand-formed mozzarella, homemade pasta, pizza “Napoletana” and charcoal grilled meats, fish and poultry marinated in herb infused extra virgin olive oil will lead the way. General Manager, Stephane Buliard and Restaurant Manager, Jerome Naulleau will continue to “maestro” the seamlessly orchestrated service which has become a hallmark of Savona’s success for over a decade.
Sommelier, Melissa Monosoff, has done an amazing job managing the largest wine cellar in the state of PA. In addition to the vast array of over 1,000 selections, Monosoff has created her “100 under 100” list offering guests a top sommelier’s selection of top wines appropriately priced.
