Friday, December 10 marks the all-day celebration of Sly Fox Brewery & Restaurant’s Fifteenth Anniversary, held at the Sly Fox Brewhouse & Eatery in Phoenixville.
To kick off the beer-infused day, Sly Fox is teaming up with Majolica to host a Brewmaster’s Breakfast at 10 am. Andrew Deery, the acclaimed chef of Phoenixville’s popular Majolica, will be the guest chef for the meal, which will also host the releases of two brand-new beers for Sly Fox portfolio, including the Majolica Coffee Porter, brewed with a special coffee blend from Kimberton Coffee Roasters, and Succubus, a sour beer interpretation of our Belgian-style Incubus Tripel.
The breakfast, booming with 5-courses paired perfectly with 5 Sly Fox brews, will include the following match-ups:
Fresh Donuts paired with Kimberton Coffee Porter
Potato and Leek Veloute smoked Salmon Croque Monsieur paired with Saison Vos
Truffled White Sausage Mashed Celery Root paired with Royal Weiss
Maine Peekytoe Crab Benedict wilted Spinach Sauce Choron paired with Odyssey Imperial IPA
Spiced Pumpkin Biscuit Cinnamon Ice Cream paired with 2010 Christmas Ale
Sly Fox Brewhouse & Eatery is the oldest surviving brewpub in the Philadelphia area. While, we sadly have to announce that the Brewmaster’s Breakfast has limited seating, and is sold out, Sly Fox’s Phoenixville site will host 23-plus beers on tap (see list below) throughout the afternoon and evening, including six new brews — and mark the release of Odyssey 2010. There will also be a must-try 2009 and 2010 Odyssey side-by-side firkin pairing.
A special tapas menu will also be available featuring, among other items, a cheese plate of specially selected cheeses from DiBruno Bros. and other enticements. Even better, live music will première in the evening from HOLT 45, and they promise lots of other festive surprises. Be sure to show hometown beer pride by participating in this all-day celebration.
