CHADDS FORD, PA – Beginning Friday June 4, Chaddsford Winery (632 Baltimore Pike, 610-388-6221) will present their “Summer Nights Under the Stars” Friday Concert Series, featuring local musicians and of course, great wines. Throughout the month of June, local barbecue outfit Nick’s Chicks will attend the concerts to sell grilled food themed to the night’s musical style. Admission is $22 per person. “Summer Nights Under the Stars” concerts take place every Friday from 6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. through August 27. Performers range from rock ’n’ roll bands to classic soul acts and jazz artists. Guests are invited to bring a picnic or to purchase food on-site from Nick’s Chicks (June only).
“This year we added fun BBQs to our June concert nights to make it easy and simple” says winery proprietor Lee Miller. “Visitors can still bring a picnic, but if they come directly from work or just want the night off, they can get some great grub here. They’re a perfect date night or a great way to meet up with friends.”

New this year is the Summer Concert Saver, a discounted admission package perfect for those who plan to enjoy more than one concert over the course of the season. For $50 per person, guests can reserve admission to three dates, a savings of $16 over purchasing admission to each night individually.
Guests who prefer to host a private event will be thrilled with Chaddsford’s new Summer BBQ Party Package. For $40 per person, guests can host a party that includes: a Chaddsford wine tasting bar, featuring six wines; a souvenir glass for each guest; pavilion tent rental for three hours; optional guided tours of the wine-making facility; and a choice of BBQ menus from Joseph’s Catering. Other summer music events, including their annual Fourth of July “Big Bang BBQ” Weekend on July 3 and 4 and Sangria Sundays on July 11, 18 and 25, are also planned.
Chaddsford Winery is Pennsylvania’s premiere winery. Winemaker Eric Miller was honored by the American Wine Society with their 2009 Award of Merit, a designation that is granted to just one wine professional annually.
