Here’s Mary’s Message for this Issue:

Warm July evenings always remind me of childhood. As I drive along the back roads of Chester County with the windows down and the wind whipping through my hair, I catch the sweet smell of honeysuckle or the smokiness of a campfire nearby and remember the exhilarating freedom that summer brought as a kid. Back then, hot summer nights were meant for catching fireflies, eating ice cream and truly embracing the lazy days of July.

As I go into my 30th year, I can’t exactly wake up late and go on adventures with friends all day long anymore. However, there are certainly plenty of options in Chester County to enjoy the summer as an adult!

No matter your age, this issue of Chester County Cuisine and Nightlife offers plenty of local recipes, entertainment, and treats to make the most of your summer days and nights.

Cheers!
