Presented by The First National Bank of Chester County, the Festival offers all the fabulous events of previous years with a few new additions.
Friday night, while the ride preview is underway, the first ever Battle of the Bands will take place. Six amateur bands will rock the night away while they battle for the title of “Top Band” and cash prizes. Saturday morning, the inaugural Health and Science Fair will display science projects completed by 7-10th graders from 9am to Noon. Winners will be announced at noon. While in the Wellness Tent, attendees can pick up a “Know Your Numbers” card and tour the Festival grounds in search of numbers that correlate to proper health. Those who complete the scavenger hunt will be entered into a contest to win a Nintendo Wii and Wii Fit!
The fun and excitement offered to local families, friends and kids will be enhanced this year with the addition of BINGO, held Sunday morning. This community organized fundraiser includes, as always, traditional family favorites such as amusement rides, pony rides, face painting, children’s activities, games, great festival foods, and continuous entertainment, just to name of few of the attractions planned.
