Frecon Farms’ Hard Cider Release

Just last night, Frecon Farms stocked their shelves with their second release of hard cider, Early Man Dry Cider (the first-ever hard cider, Crabby Granny, was unleashed earlier this year).

Booming with brown sugar and golden raisins, incorporated to preserve the last notes of summer, the local Berks County farm shop’s all-local concoction (even down to the label design) makes for ideal holiday sips. As it is a limited release, conceptualized by Frecon’s homebrewing comrade, Jamie Bock, hurry in if you want to snag one of these 22-ounce beauties. Although Crabby Granny previously sold-out in one day in early fall, it too is joining the Early Man in limited quantities.

Frecon Fruit Farms was established in 1944 in the rolling hills of Boyertown, Pennsylvania. As a family-run operation, the local farm-fresh hub grows apples, pears, nectarines, cherries, pumpkins and more on its 140-acre orchard, as well as manages an all-natural shop ever since 1970. For more information, visit www.freconfarms.com or to grab your own bottle of either of the above fine ciders, head over to 501 South Reading Avenue in Boyertown immediately!
