First Impressions

KRISTEN: Art was dressed extremely well – a tailored sports jacket and, even more importantly – a warm smile!

ART:  Kristen greeted me with a beautiful smile and was dressed great.

On Firecreek

KRISTEN: I had been to Firecreek for lunch prior.  They had a very accommodating staff; Devon, the Events Manager, was very nice and our server (Jessica?) was really terrific – high energy!

ART:  Firereek was bustling but we had a fairly quiet high-top table in the back near the bar.  The waitress was very attentive and interested in making sure we enjoyed ourselves.

What did you order at Firecreek?

KRISTEN: Our server made wonderful selections for us: a Napa Cabernet – Route 29 and calamari.

On Amani’s

ART: I was anxious to try Amani’s; I’ve heard that it is one of the best restaurants in the area.  Amani’s is not a large place and it was full.  We were seated at the last table in the back near the kitchen.

KRISTEN: I had never been to Amani’s and was excited for the opportunity, since the chef was just voted “Best in Chester County.”

Service?

KRISTEN: Our server was extremely knowledgeable; she gave us insight about all of the locally grown items.

The Food?

KRISTEN:  Presentation of each course was lovely. The spinach salad was fresh and the addition of the fried egg was creative with a little French flair!

ART: The appetizer of local cheeses and a spinach salad both were presented nicely.  The cheeses were very good and paired very well.  I ordered the crab cake entree and we were served Limoncello with our desserts, which was very good.

The Conversation?

KRISTEN: The conversation flowed easily; Art is interesting and thoughtful.

ART: We had good conversation, talking about our work, interests, family and what we do with our free time. It felt comfortable getting to know her.

Chemistry?

KRISTEN: Art is extremely easy-on-the eyes, sarcastic and has many wonderful interests – a nice balance!

ART:  We laughed quite a bit, sharing stories, and enjoyed each others company.

Did you exchange numbers?

KRISTEN: Art wanted to make certain that I made it home safely, so we did exchange numbers.

ART:  I wanted to send her a text to make sure she got home okay.

Was it a Match?

KRISTEN:  Based on the evening, I would venture to say, there is possibility!

ART:   I think we both had a good time.

Was there a kiss?

KRISTEN: Well, that is a bit personal…

ART:  No comment.

Will there be a second date?

KRISTEN:  Time will tell…

[We heard that he did ask to see her again but Art did not confirm that before press].

How did you leave it?

KRISTEN:  Art walked me to my car and I thanked him for a lovely evening.

ART: We summed up our evening by reviewing what we had ordered and our thoughts about the quality of the food and service.
