Message from Laughter Yoga Leader Ernie:
Laughter Yoga is a concept that was developed in India by a physician as a form of exercise, where we laugh without jokes or comedy just for the sake of laughing. We incorporate childlike plays and Hasya Yogic breathing into the sessions, soon laughter becomes real and contagious.
Laughter Yoga Circle in Downingtown is a growing community of friends who believe that the divine intelligence who have created us wants us to be happy and joyful. We get together every Sunday night at 7 p.m. at The Spirit of Yoga on Lancaster Ave., to claim that birthright.
In few minutes into a typical LY session, the dormant energies and intrinsic qualities of our human nature within us wakes up. Laughter brings forth the voice of the heart and the soul that expresses and manifests emotions of pleasure, peace, love and joy as we intensely engage the present moment.
The sessions are run by Kripalu Yoga Center/ MA certified Instructors Pamela and Ernie who enjoy giving back to the community they live and work in.
