Phoenixville’s classic 1948 Diner, The Vale-Rio, is currently up for auction on eBay from local sellers Francis J. Puleo and Richard J. Puleo for the asking price of $225,000. The Vale-Rio closed its doors in February of 2008 and now sits, covered in pastic, on Puleo’s property along Route 23, ironically in the shadows of The Phoenix Diner & Family Restaurant (owned by Vale-Rio former chef Ali Ghouneimy).
