The Pennsylvania Restaurant Association, a state-wide organization that represents more than 7,000 foodservice establishments, recently ran an end-of-the-year incentive with all of their chapters to recruit new members in 2011.
Congratulations to the area’s closest chapter, the Brandywine Chapter, for claiming victory over the competition. As a prize, a portion of the Pennsylvania Restaurant Association dues were awarded to the Brandywine Chapter.
In return, the Brandywine Chapter donated their winning proceeds, which totaled $450, to the Chester County Food Bank. The charitable donation was presented to the area’s food bank at the Brandywine Chapter’s holiday dinner, which was held this past Sunday, Dec. 4 at at the Dilworthtown Inn.
We tip our hats to Brandywine Chapter Board Member Dee Rogevich who single-handedly assisted in promoting and extending chapter invites to locals involved in area restaurants–from West Chester and Kennett Square, to Exton and the Main Line.
