Join John & Kira’s Chocolates, Penns Woods Winery and Shellbark Hollow Farm on Monday, June 20 at 6:30pm for a chocolate, cheese and wine tasting fundraiser at Cichetteria 19 near Rittenhouse Square to benefit the Urban Nutrition Initiative.
John & Kira’s is a socially innovative chocolate company dedicated to both making and selling world class confections and promoting positive social change. Cichetteria 19 is a Venetian style Italian restaurant that just celebrated its one year anniversary. Penns Woods Winery is a winery committed to producing world-class wines with Pennsylvania-grown grapes.
At this event, learn wine pairing tips at various stations throughout the restaurant which will be serving fitting combinations of wine, chocolate, and cheese. Representatives from UNI will share about their new initiatives, including a partnership with John and Kira to make yummy minty chocolate bars. There will be ample opportunity for networking as well. Also, feel free to come early for happy hour or stay after for dinner (menu is below)!
Tasting runs until 8:30pm and costs attendees $50 per person, with all proceeds going to UNI to support 3-acre community food resource center in southwest Philadelphia!
