Construction Underway at Avalon’s New Pasta Bistro of Downingtown

Yesterday we blabbed about Downingtown’s incoming restaurant, Avalon’s Pasta Bistro, and how they recently jump-started a fundraising project via Kickstarter.

Today, owner/chef John Brandt-Lee shared with Town Dish some of his interior shots of the progress of his future space (see below), one that is set to be a “pasta-focused BYO” that concentrates on a wide assortment of homemade pastas, artisan cheeses, a 15-plus antipasto platter, a four-course $40 prix fixe and much more.

The new restaurant, situated at 78 East Lancaster Avenue of Downingtown, known as the past Jasper space, is slated to open later this year. Though, if you live in or near the borough and you are craving for some of the area’s best pasta, head to Avalon’s West Chester location. Click here for a peek of the brand-new spring menu.
