The Dilworthtown Wine Festival returns to the Dilworthtown Inn this Sunday, Oct. 9 from noon to 4 pm, celebrating its 20th year anniversary, and we want to send you there!
The annual Chester County wine festival, held the second Sunday in October for the last twenty years, offers locals an incredible afternoon out featuring a grand tasting of more than 100 wines, live entertainment, impressive silent auction, performance car show, and artisan shopping gallery. Better yet, if you score VIP tickets, you’re granted access to the exclusive VIP tent, where you will find reserved seating, a variety of gourmet foods, special wines and more.
The Dilworthtown Inn and the Brandywine and Greystone branches of The Women’s Auxiliary to The Chester County Hospital jointly organize this event to “Crush Cancer,” with the proceeds benefiting The Cancer Program of The Chester County Hospital and Neighborhood Hospice.
Wine samples at the affair will range from products from major wine producers, as well as pours from area-wide boutique vintners. The event’s silent auction tent will highlight a wide array of items generously donated by area businesses ranging from sports teams to spas. A premium collection of wines donated by the event’s participating vintners will additionally be up for grabs.
General admission to this wine sipping festival is $35 per person in advance and $40 at the door. A “general admission” ticket allows you to enjoy the Grand Tasting of more than 100 wines, the performance car show, live entertainment, the silent auction and the shopping gallery. Food is available for purchase if you have a general admission ticket, from the Gourmet Food Tent.
Designated driver tickets are also available for purchase. General Admission, VIP and Designated Driver Packages tickets can be purchased ONLINE, by phone at 610-431-5329 or at the event. Online ticket sales conclude on Fri., Oct. 7 at noon. Tickets are non-refundable and non-replaceable if lost, stolen or forgotten.
