Dish Has Churned Up the Best Spots for Ice Cream in Chester County and Beyond!

By Leslie Weinberg & Amy Strauss

Fill in the blank, on a warm summer’s night, hands down the best way to cool off is with a refreshing ________.

A. Trip to Antarctica
B. A slip and slide
C. A refreshing cup/cone of ice cream or water ice
D. All of the above

The correct answer is C, unless you are really bold.  Did you know that America is the number one ice cream consuming country in the world? Right up there with Mom’s apple pie, ice cream is the dessert of choice of Americans and even Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson and George Washington snagged a cone or two in their day. The warm weather is ready to come out, so Dish has searched far and wide for old favorites and new spots for some frozen fun.

It is a blend of soda and ice cream (I recommend vanilla and orange soda), but this refreshing drink is not thick like a shake or separated like a float, it is a wondrous blend of the two.
