We are lucky to have beautiful hiking and mountain biking trails in the West Chester Area. Harmony Hill Nature Area, Marsh Creek State Park and other trails are enjoyed by so many adventurous souls, especially in the fall season.
Many of these trails are maintained by volunteers from PA Trail Hands (PATH) and the West Chester Cycling Club, who work with the DCNR to build, repair and maintain trails at local, state and municipal parks. If you hike or ride regularly, you know they have built foot bridges, weed-whacked overgrowth and carved new trails for everyone’s enjoyment.
Now, you can support the maintenance of multi-use trails by going out to dinner!
On Tuesday night, November 1st, Iron Hill in West Chester has agreed to donate 20% of your food bill on Tuesday night to PATH! PATH can then use the the money for tools, supplies and coffee to fuel the volunteers.
So take a date or the family and go out to dinner to support the volunteers who develop and maintain our local trails.
