On Tuesday, October 11th, storytellers will compete for the final slot in West Chester Story Slam’s Grand Slam.
Anyone can get up and tell a story in front of the live audience. Three judges will determine the night’s winner, who advances to the final contest. The judging is based on two criteria – content and presentation. Each story should be no longer than five minutes long and based on the night’s theme, which is “Celebrity Sightings.” No props, no music and no notes are allowed. Check out West Chester Story Slam for more details and to watch videos from last month’s story slam. If you can’t attend, you can always subscribe to the West Chester Story Slam podcast on iTunes.
Last month’s event was standing room only, so come early for the best seats. You do not have to tell a story! Come out and support local storytelling with friends and family. The event is free.
