CONSHOHOCKEN, PA – (April 19, 2011) – Chef Michael Cappon has come up with an excellent way to sample his menu at Isabella Restaurant (382 East Elm Street; 484-532-7470). Beginning Monday, April 25th Chef Cappon will offer an 8 course Tapas Tasting Menu for $27. Available for dinner every Sunday through Wednesday, the menu features some of Isabella’s most popular dishes including Cochino Frito: Chili-dusted crispy pork belly with a sweet pea puree and pickled onions; Mussels in a roasted tomato jus with a crisp potato and arugula salad; And Pinchos de Carne: Chili and roasted garlic marinated beef skewers with a porcini mushroom crema with charred onion (see full menu below). “Many of our guests have asked me to select a menu of my favorite tapas for them,” explains Chef Michael Cappon. So, I created this chef’s tasting of our most popular dishes. It gives diners the opportunity to experience dishes they might have never considered.”
In addition to Isabella’s happy hour offered Monday through Friday from 5:00 -7:00pm, guests can now take advantage of drink and menu specials Friday and Saturday nights from 10:00pm through midnight (food served until 11:00pm). Isabella’s happy hour and late night specials include $3.50 tapas, 1/2 off draft beer, $4 select wine and $5 martinis.

Isabella Salad – local mixed greens, valdeon cheese, marinated figs and toasted almonds toss with a pedro ximenez vinaigrette
House Mozzarella – lavender honey and spiced marcona almonds
Tuna Niçoise – olive oil blanched sushi grade ahi tuna with olives, capers, quail egg and caper berry
Cochino Frito –chili-dusted crispy pork belly with a sweet pea puree and pickled onions
Intermezzo – mojito sorbet
Mussels – mussels in a roasted tomato jus with a crisp potato and arugula salad
Spinach Ricotta Gnocchi – house made ricotta, brown butter, reggiano parmigiano, nutmeg
Pinchos de Carne – chili and roasted garlic marinated beef skewers with a porcini mushroom crema and a charred onion
Dessert Trio – espresso creme, chocolate mousse and pear ginger sorbet
