Were you one of the many beard-loving guests who supported Side Bar’s Shave Off for SHINE yesterday at the Gay Street-based bar and restaurant? Whether you are a charitable donator, you are simply fond of the fascinating face fur, or you get giddy over clean-shaven trims, this weekend’s fundraiser was one that was not to be missed, raising sufficient funds for the local cancer care support organization, SHINE. SHINE is a volunteer group devoted to cancer patients in Chester County by assisting them with prescriptions, transportation, their utility bills, and various therapies.
