The farm-to-table dinner movement is flourishing throughout the rural areas of the nation. Thanks to the sustainable gang of Sugartown Strawberries, Chester County was able to have its own farm-focused outdoor dinner party on Sunday, Sept. 18 where area-wide neighbors were invited to reconnect with the local land and its farmers.
Hosted by J. Scott Catering on Sugartown’s property, lucky guests were able to taste their way through four courses crafted only from area-wide farms’ products, which featured top-notch goods from Shellbark Hollow Farm, Countrytime Farm, SIW Vegetables, and many others.

Proceeds for the seasonally-inspired, locally-sourced food gathering benefited Hives for Lives, a non-profit organization dedicated to cancer research.
The next farm-to-table dinner party is scheduled for Oct. 2. More details available by clicking here.
