Safe Harbor of Chester County will soon celebrate their 15 years of service and success with a grand event, the “Taste of Chester County,” to be held on Thurs., Nov. 10 from 7 to 9 pm at Milestone Events (600 E. Market St., West Chester).
Presented by Hoifjeld Foundation and PA Eats, the upcoming celebration will feature notable Chester County restaurants and vendors, including Aneu, Arianna’s Gourmet Cafe, Avalon Restaurant, Cakes & Candies by Maryellen, D’Ascenzos Gelato, FreshaPeel Hummus!, The Ice Bulter, Limencello, Side Bar & Restaurant, Sovana Bistro, Swig Bartending, Tally Ho Coffee, Majestic Wines and Victory Brewing Co.
Have you supported Safe Harbor through the years, whether by volunteering, donating, etc.? Then, this event is surely for you! The purpose of the “Taste of Chester County” is to honor and thank those who have been a part of Safe Harbor in any way through the past 15 years. Since 1992, Safe Harbor has provided beds for 40 homeless men and women, giving them a safe place to live for four months allows the individuals to have a secure place for their possessions and have a place to come ‘home’ to – one that also has a hot dinner and a shower.
