Spiced Apple Sundays Coming to Chaddsford Winery in October

This autumn, celebrate the seasons with delicious local wines and fun events at Chaddsford Winery (632 Baltimore Pike).

While you may have missed the annual Brandywine Harvest Festival last weekend, on upcoming Sundays, October 9, 16, 23 and 30, the winery will offer their Spiced Apple Sundays, featuring their signature hot mulled wine recipes.

Each Sunday in October from 12 noon until 6 p.m., guests can enjoy fall foliage, hot mulled Spiced Apple wine and relaxing live acoustic music performances including:

  • October 9, Bob Croce
  • October 16, Dana Lee and Howie
  • October 23, Mike Favinger
  • October 30, Drew Nielands

On October 9, Joseph’s Catering will have food for sale; other Sundays, Nick’s Chicks will bring their local barbecue. Guests may also bring their own picnic. $10 per person includes a spiced apple wine tasting, hot mulled wine recipes to take home and live music from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m.

Led by winemaker Eric Miller, Chaddsford Winery is Pennsylvania’s largest. Throughout the year, Miller and his team host guided wine tastings of their portfolio of wines, sharing their knowledge in an accessible and friendly format that often includes seasonal tastings such as their Thanksgiving Turkey Tastings in November and Spring Wine Tastings in April.

In addition, live acoustic musicians frequently play on the deck at the winery for holidays such as Memorial Day and Fourth of July, and the winery also works with local restaurants to provide snacks for guests to purchase and enjoy on-site.  Their affordable, everyday sipping wines combine with their entertainment and educational offerings to make Chaddsford a perfect place to spend a holiday weekend or a laid-back afternoon.

More details about all events at the winery, as well as information about their wines, can be found online at www.chaddsford.com.
