Steel City Coffeehouse Hosts Phoenixville Jazz Festival

Steel City Coffee House‘s owner Eli Wenger and Director of Entertainment and Promotion, Fern Brodkin, intend to preserve many of the great things about Steel City Coffee House while building for Steel City’s future. Part of the future that they envision includes offering a wider variety of entertainment and events and to expand the venue’s customer base in the greater Philadelphia area.

One of the projects that they have developed is this weekend’s Phoenixville Jazz Festival, to be held at Steel City on January 28th and 29th, 2011.

If it is successful event coordinators intend to make this an annual event. The weekend music event presents four local and regionally-based performers, some with international renown.

On Friday, January 28 at 8:30 pm, Downright and the Kevin MacConnell Trio featuring Tony Miceli and Erik Johnson will take the stage. On Saturday, January 29, also at 8:30 pm, Gloria Galante & Tyrone Brown and Fusionhouse are slated to perform. For more information on the performing artists, click here.
