Host Mary Bigham of PA Eats will have co-chairs Wiggie Featherman and Scott Hattersley of the area’s highly competitive dessert contest, Sweet Charity, in studio as this week’s special guests, chitchatting about the upcoming fundraiser that brings together 14 Chester County pastry chefs and their award-winning desserts—all for the public to deliciously sample for a great cause. Sweet Charity will take shape later this month, Tuesday, March 29 from 6-8:30 p.m at Waterloo Gardens of 200 North Whitford Road in Exton, which benefits the Chester County Community Foundation, a growing legacy for philanthropy throughout the region.
During today’s discussions, Bigham and guests will enjoy various sweet treats from local-and-notable spots on-air, as well as steamy cups of locally-roasted blends from Twin Valley Coffee and samples of artisanal smoked meats and more from West Chester’s Sugartown Smoked Specialties.
