Fine wine, craft beer, gourmet food, tutored tastings and live entertainment. Don’t those things sound satisfying? Well, you can be the one enjoying it all at Campbell’s Field on November 10th.
The Philadelphia/Delaware Valley Chapter of the Crohn’s Colitis Foundation of American (CCFA) proudly presents the 17th Annual Sippin’ by the River on Saturday, November 10th, rain or shine, from 1 p.m.- 5 p.m. This year, the event is taking a hop, skip and a jump from its original Penn’s Landing location and unfolding at Campbell’s Field in Camden, New Jersey. Be sure to join all the fun as the afternoon will be filled with special guests and terrific treats.
Guests will be invited to mingle with radio personality, Marilyn Russell of 95.7 BEN-FM, while sampling regionally-sourced wines, over 30 different craft and specialty beers, artisan cocktails served at the Sippin’ Spirits bar, and a variety of non-alcoholic beverages. There will be plenty of snacks, small plates, and desserts from local restaurants and live music by Firewaters band, all amongst a beautiful view of the Delaware River.
In addition to the food and drink, there will be an interactive beverage sampling break-out session with national sports reporter Sal Paolantonio. Award-winning beer guru Gary Monterosso will lead a specialty tutored tasting featuring exclusive Belgian beers from Vanberg & DeWulf Importers – plus, Rolling Barrel Events will present a “Love Local” wine and cheese pairing class featuring all regionally sourced products!
