Annual Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting Returns to Downtown Phoenixville, Dec. 7

It doesn’t feel like the holidays in Phoenixville until the Annual Christmas Parade marches through and the tree is lit. Well, that annual tradition is returning next Friday, December 7th, beginning at 7 p.m. Arrive early and grab a good spot because the crowds will gather well before things start rolling from Borough Hall (140 Church Street), the parade’s starting point.

The parade, which runs for approximately an hour, includes many jolly people in costumes, decorated cars and the big man himself, Santa Claus. The route begins at the 300 block of Bridge Street and concludes at the 100 block of Bridge Street, near where the tree lighting takes place at 8 p.m. (tree is official light in front of the mural at Steel City Coffeehouse, on the corner of Bridge St. and Main St.).

Mark your calendars and plan your spot because this year’s parade and tree lighting should be the best yet. We hope to see you there!
