October is here, which means one very important thing for kids, and maybe even a few kids at heart. It’s time to carve those pumpkins!
Bordley House Grille is extending a friendly invitation to the young and crafty for their 1st Pumpkin Painting and Carving Contest, being held on October 13th from 2 to 5 p.m. Bring the kids, no matter what their age, and have a “ghoulishly” good time at this friendly competition. Kids 12 and under may enter the painting contest and 13+ are welcome to carve their way to a victory! The $7 contest entry price includes a pumpkin and all painting/carving supplies.

Whether you can make the October 13 event or not, Bordley’s has more October specials up their sleeve for October 31st. They will be in the full blown Halloween spirit that day and prepared to give HALF OFF guests’ entrees, but only if they’re dressed head to toe in a costume (dressing like a golfer doesn’t count).
