Wine lovers near and far will be happy to hear that the area’s ONLY Snow Bar is returning this year at Chaddsford Winery. If you missed the fun, interactive and delicious experience last time around, then be sure to bundle up and head to 632 Baltimore Pike for their go at it in 2013.
“With the temperatures dropping and the promise of snow on the horizon, we can’t think of a better time to warm up – with a toasty, crackling fire and a glass of wine,” says Bob Brock, general manager.
In addition to the icy wine experience, they will also have NEW Wine and Cheese Pairings, featuring Chaddsford’s locally produced wines alongside a variety of decadent cheeses. This will be available at both their idyllic Brandywine Valley location and their Bucks County Tasting Room in Peddler’s Village. Snow Bar at Chaddsford Winery
Saturdays and Sundays, January 5 until March 31 from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m.
- Chaddsford’s Snow Bar features heated tents and two roaring fire pits, with wines by the glass and mugs of mulled wines and wine cocktails, all available on a pay-as-you-go basis. The outdoor wine wonderland encourages guests to sip and linger, and to take advantage of snow on the ground to build their own snowmen if the weather allows.
Wine & Cheese Tastings at Chaddsford Winery
Saturdays and Sundays, January 5 until January 27 from 12 noon until 6 p.m.
- For $20 per person, guests will enjoy a tray of assorted cheeses and a guided tasting through Chaddsford’s entire dry and sweet wine selections, plus a cheese tray and wine glass to take home and a written guide featuring cheese information and classic wine pairings. Reservations are not required.
Wine & Cheese Tastings at Peddler’s Village
Saturdays, January 12, 19, 26 at 2 pm.
