Seasoned Chef Al Paris has gone back to the basics with his 50-seat BYOB, Heirloom, re-establishing America’s collective cuisine with the use of old-world recipes and techniques.
His rustic space (found at 8707 Germantown Ave.) mimics his concept, housing folky flair, like a former butcher block-lined communal table, vintage reproduction fabrics, and hand-stacked Pennsylvania blue slate.
Have yet to try his regional, seasonal menu? Click HERE to catch the owner/chef in action recently on NBC’s 10! Show. During his television appearance on March 8, he whips up an East Coast halibut and mussel stew, concocted with saffron, fennel and leeks. Take note: This dish is currently being offered during Heirloom’s Restaurant Month special.
During the month-long Chestnut Hill-based culinary celebration, Chef Al will offer a special 3-course prix fixe menu. Paris’ 3-course feast is offered Sunday through Thursday during Chestnut Hill Restaurant Month, for $29.95 per person. Learn more about Heirloom by visiting HeirloomDining.com.
