Head to Wyebrook Farm Market on Saturday, November 17th from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. for a hearty cheese tasting unlike any other. The line-up, which includes Seth Kalkstein of Downtown Cheese in Reading Terminal Market and six of the Chester County Cheese Artisans, is sure to provide a tasty educational experience.
Guests will be able to meet the farmers and feel their passion as they enjoy a taste of locally crafted cheeses and hear personal stories from the cheesemakers themselves. Visitors are encouraged to pay the farm an early visit to savor a farm-raised beef, pork, or chicken sandwich at the Market Café, which is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The landscape is gorgeous this time of year so an early arrival will assure time to take in the fall countryside views before staying to enjoy the tasting that evening.
Participating farms include: Amazing Acres Farm, Birchrun Hills Farm, Conebella Farm, Highland Farm, Shellbark Hollow Farm, and Yellow Springs Farm. Cheese will be available for purchase after the tasting – stock up to share with your family and friends during this season of Thanksgiving!
