Chestnut Hill’s “Third Thursday” Summer Series Returns To Germantown Avenue Today, June 21

Have you heard? Chestnut Hill is hosting its own riff on local First Fridays celebrations, and instead of waiting until Fridays, we’re screaming TGIT! Their Third Thursdays on Germantown Avenue debuted just May 17 and will continue today, June 21.

The summer series features live music performances, extended store and restaurant hours, plus an endless amount of fun-filled activities for the whole family (full lineup for summer below). Special for June 21, attendees may enjoy complimentary popcorn and balloons, and lucky for local families, Sesame Street’s own Cookie Monster will be trotting on Germantown Avenue tonight!

Select retailers will offer extended hours until 8 pm and select restaurants will remain open until 10 pm – all to encourage children and adults to enjoy summer as it’s meant to be in one of Philadelphia’s most beautiful neighborhoods.
