Cotton Candy Grapes Coming to Philadelphia Area

T.M. Kovacevich (TMK) is the wholesaler known for supplying the very best in fresh harvest to every segment of the food industry, from mom and pop shops to major food retailers. Their 1700 pallet facility located within the Philadelphia Regional Produce Market specializes in premium fruit and they’re bringing a whole new meaning to that title with their newest product.

Today, on Wednesday, August 22nd, Cotton Candy Grapes, a rare new varietal that tastes just like their namesake, will be brought to Philadelphia and the suburbs by TMK.

Cotton Candy Grapes are grown in California and available for only 3 weeks out of the year. They are white in color and and obviously sweet in taste, with a flavor that will take you way back. We’re talking ball park and carnival back.

General Manager, Tom Kovacevich thinks it’s the perfect time to be offering these specialty grapes. Kids are going back to school and will love them as a special treat in their lunch box or as a satisfying snack when they get home. A lot of home entertainers will enjoy them as well, sprucing their weekly get togethers up a bit by adding the unique fruit to a regular cheese plate.

If you’re already tempted and looking to get a taste of the Cotton Candy Grapes then head to your nearest produce market. You can find them at DiBruno Bros., Maxx’s Produce, and Rittenhouse Market in Center City; Feder’s Fresh Market in Fairmount; Iovine Brothers at Reading Terminal Market;Gentile’s Market and Tanner Brothers in Philadelphia suburbs; and B.F. Mazzeo Produce, Delicious Orchards, Nature’s Reward Farm Market and Sickles Market in New Jersey.

With all those convenient locations, it’s hard not to pick some up.

Share your grape review with us as soon as you get a chance. We’d love to hear how these distinctive delights were enjoyed and hope the next step is…..a local cotton candy wine?!
