Four-Course Beer and Cheese Pairing Coming to Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant, Aug. 23

With the cool autumn weather around the corner, beer and cheese pairings feel particularly right this time of year. Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant suggests paying your respects to the dog days of summer in a delicious fashion with their Four-Course Beer and Cheese Pairing on August 23rd at the Media location. Unfolding from 7 to 9 p.m., the dinner will feature some of the finest fromages from international locations and our native land, paired with the perfect local beer from Iron Hill!

FIRST COURSE

Saint Angel Triple Cream
Origin: Loire, France
banana beer bread and micro greens
soft ripened triple cream, pasteurized cow’s milk,
aged 6 weeks
Paired with Hefeweizen  

SECOND COURSE

Beemster Goat 
Origin: Beemster Podder, Holland
roesti potato, smoked apple relish and apple cider reduction
gouda semi-firm cooked, pressed pasteurized goat’s milk,
aged 4 months
Paired with Johnny Appleseed

THIRD COURSE

Moses Sleeper, Jasper Hill Farm 
Origin: Greensboro, Vermont
blood orange marmalade and french bread
farmstead camembert, pasteurized grass fed cow’s milk,
aged 4-6 weeks
Paired with Ironbound Ale

FOURTH COURSE

Buffalo Blue 
Origin: Lombardy, Italy
dark humor bread, root beer braised raisins
blue veined, natural rind, water buffalo milk,
aged 4 months
Paired with Dark Humor
