Friday Moonlight Movies And Dining Under The Stars Kick Off June 22 in Mt. Airy

Who doesn’t love a free movie? Especially one that is free to get into and free of loud teenagers who are jammed into a theatre and really have no interest in the showing so they are all talking over it.

It’s not hard to beat that scenario but Mt. Airy’s Friday Moonlight Movies will surpass the indoor movie theatre experience with flying colors! It’s not a once and done thing either. This summer, guests can enjoy free outdoor movie screenings at the Lovett Library Park in Mt. Airy every Friday night starting June 22. You’ll have a chance to experience the romantic, and unique Moonlight Movies In Mt. Airy until August 17 thanks to the Free Library of Philadelphia and the Trolley Car Diner.

Movies are completely FREE and begin at 8:30 pm.; seating on the green starts at 8 pm. In case of inclement weather, movies will be shown at the Cliveden Carriage House at 6401 Germantown Avenue (enter from Cliveden and Morton Streets at the rear of the property).

The Moonlight Movies will also, in conjunction with Dining Under the Stars, bring whole new meaning to the classic date, dinner and a movie. This year movie viewers, from 6:30-8:30 pm each Friday, can take advantage of a handful of pop-up guest food vendors who will be set up just outside the park site for al fresco dinner service. Bistro tables and chairs will be on site to accommodate hungry movie-goers who want to come early and grab a bite. Bring your date, your mom, best friend or the whole family for an outdoor evening of food, fun and free movies!
