The moment that former Iron Hill Mug Club Members have all been waiting for is finally here. After the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) forbid the initial rewards program from existing any longer, Mug Clubbers were in a bit of limbo. They were waiting for something pretty grand to replace the previous program that kept mugs full and mouths smiling for ten years. It’s here.
This Saturday, October 27th, Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant will debut their new King of the Hill rewards club. This companywide program offers rewards and exclusive perks to lovers of both the restaurant’s passions: great beer and great food.
“Rewarding our loyal guests with great perks is one of our favorite parts of being in this business,” says Iron Hill President Kevin Finn. “This is a more comprehensive program with most of the rewards of the previous membership program, plus a host of new features.”
When the bad news arrived back in July, Iron Hill promised to take care of their loyal customers as they always do, gifting 500 points to the then members for past purchases and future patience during the transition. Those loyal customers will soon find that the new program was worth the wait.
King of the Hill membership will include: Lower Membership Price of just $25 for new and renewing members; More Ways to Earn Points, including points for both visits and purchases; Faster Rewards such as $25 for every 250 points accumulated; Companion Cards, the option to link a second rewards card to an existing account; Free Gifts for members on their birthdays; Signature Handmade Mugs for use in all Iron Hill locations; Invitations to Club-Only Events such as tastings and parties; Direct Contact via email with head brewers; and Online Point Tracking and a member profile to further customize the experience.
