Jake’s and Cooper’s Wine Bar is turning 25 this year and they plan to celebrate in a humbling manner. While recognizing their tremendous accomplishment, they will dedicate their milestone to raising money for Living Beyond Breast Cancer and the Cis B. Golder Quality Of Life Grant.
If you stop by the sleek and sophisticated dining spot on Wednesday, October 17th from 6 to 10 p.m., you’ll find a myriad of Jake’s classic hors d’oeuvres, wine, cocktails and live entertainment. The cost is $150 per person and can be purchased via credit card by calling 610.645.4568. All contributions are tax deductible.
Owner and Chef, Bruce Cooper, is a personal witness to the struggles of breast cancer, as both his wife and mother were diagnosed and now live cancer-free. 100% of the evening proceeds will benefit LBBC and the Cis B. Golder Quality of Life Grant.
If you can’t make the special affair, there are other ways to join Jake’s in celebrating 25 years. Beginning Sunday, October 21st through Friday, October 26th, Chef Bruce Cooper will offer a special 25th Anniversary Menu for $25 (plus tax and gratuity). This special menu (seen below) will include appetizer, a choice of entree and dessert created with the season’s freshest and most exciting ingredients. Call 215.483.0444 for more information.

Jake’s and Cooper’s Wine Bar is located at 4365 Main Street Manayunk. They are open 7 days a week. Brunch is served Sundays from 10:30am – 3pm at Jake’s & 11:30am-3pm at Cooper’s. Cooper’s dining room is open Sunday – Thursday 11:30am – 10pm and Friday & Saturday 11:30am – 11pm. Jake’s dining room & cafe is open Monday – Thursday 5:30pm – 9:30pm, Friday 5:30pm – 10:30pm, Saturday 5pm – 10:30pm and Sunday 5pm – 9pm.
