Join West Chester Recreation for Annual Halloween Parade, Oct. 24

Tomorrow, October 24th, is the night all Halloween-loving locals have been waiting for. When the clock strikes 7 p.m., everyone’s favorite Halloween Parade will begin at Market Street, between Church and Darlington. Floats and groups galore will march through the historic streets for your viewing pleasure. Keep an eye out for unique costumes, knock out performances and a few handfuls of free candy as well!

West Chester Parks and Recreation did a wonderful job rounding up the following performances and it would be a shame to miss even one! Grab your friends and family and arrive early for a good spot! Be sure to swing Judy’s Kitchen (211 East Market Street, West Chester) too while you’re around town. They’re opening up specifically for the parade, to serve up piping hot cups of hot spiced cider and cozy slices of S’mores Cake.

Marching Band Performances – West Chester East, Henderson and Rustin High Schools plus West Chester University

Cheerleading Performances – Bishop Shanahan, West Chester East, Henderson and Rustin High Schools

Dance Team Performances – West Chester East, Henderson and Rustin High Schools

Keep your fingers crossed for clear skies but, in the case of inclement weather, the Halloween parade will take place on Thursday, October 25th.
