Labor Day Festivities Set to Unfold at Black Walnut Winery, Sept. 1–2

Not everyone hits the road for a long weekend vacation this Labor Day. In fact, the smart ones who hang around have a lot to look forward to—especially if they plan to hit Black Walnut Winery‘s HQ.

This weekend (Saturday, September 1st & Sunday, September 2nd, noon to 6 pm), Black Walnut Winery will feature live music on their outdoor patio, plus a fine lineup of their wines (sample 7 different wines for just $6) and fabulous wood-fired brick oven pizzas of Forno Inferno.

If you plan to stick around most of the day—which is encouraged, Black Walnut invites everyone to purchase wine by the glass or bottle (no other alcohol allowed on-site) and partake in the fun lawn games like horseshoes and bocce. As always, it’s a BYOG (bring your own glass) but those may also be purchased from BWW. To sweeten the day up, Bridge Street Chocolates will also be there with her tasty, homemade items for purchase.

The free concert schedule includes:

  • Saturday, September 1st ~ Mike Noecker, 1pm – 5pm
  • Sunday, September 2nd ~ Michael Kropp, 1pm – 5pm

Take note: Black Walnut Winery is closed on Monday, Sept. 3, so be sure to squeeze all the Labor Day fun out of Saturday and Sunday as you can!
