On Wednesday, November 14th, at 6:30 p.m., McCrossen’s Monthly Pairings dinner returns as Chef Townsend Wentz pairs dishes to GM/Sommelier Lauren Harris’ autumnal wine pairings. There will be four fantastic courses for $40 with a selection of cheeses from DiBruno Bros.

- Domaine Maestracci, Corse Calvi Rouge Clos Reginu paired with Pork Belly “Fleur de Maquis” with White Bean Cassoulet, Frisee, Hazelnut Vinaigrette
- Tramin Lagrein Alto Adige DOC paired with Cinghale Ragu with Confit Fingerlings, Brussels Sprouts, and Fontina
- Oliver Conti Turo Negre paired with Hudson Valley Duck Breast with Fall Fruits and Vegetables “en cocotte”
Then, on Thursday November 15th, McCrossen’s Beaujolais Nouveau Release Party will unfold with wine available after 6 p.m. The most popular vin de primeur ships to McCrossen’s from France the morning of Thursday, November 15th for the world’s largest annual wine release. As you may know, vin (de) primeur, is a French wine which may, under the Appellation d’origine contrôlée regulations, be sold in the same year in which it was harvested. The chance to enjoy this rare selection should not be missed, especially since Lauren Harris is set to serve the autumnal gems side by side along with very special dishes from Chef Wentz.
