Our beer-loving comrades known as the Media Beer Ladies have released the details of their next meet-up unfolding on Monday, July 30, 2012, beginning at 8 pm!
Join the suds-savvy females for a Great Lakes Brewing Co. Tap Takeover at Pinocchio’s Beer Garden To-Go. This event will save you a trip to the Cleveland-based brewery because instead of you making the trek to Ohio, they are coming to see YOU in Media! The fun, informative and tasty evening will explore a full range of craft brews produced by the highly-respected brewery and will be lead by GLBC’s Mark Weinmann. Bavarian pretzels and dips will accompany the beers through the tasting and additional food will be available off the menu.

Here’s a fun tidbit: During 2012’s Philly Beer Week, Pinocchio’s beer guru Dan Shaw teamed up with Philly Beer Scene‘s Mat Falco to represent Great Lakes in the beer week’s Double Dare-esque competition, Dunkel Dare. The duo competed against Bill Covaleski and Greg Lehman from Victory Brewing Co. and triumphantly claimed victory over the Downingtown-based brewery.
