It’s time to kick cancer in the butt and get some exercise while doing so. The Million Childhood Cancer Awareness March is coming to Phoenixville on Saturday, September 29th. They’re offering three fun ways to contribute to the great cause with a 5k Run or Walk, 1 Mile Run or Walk, or 1 Mile Family Walk.
It’s a great time for the community to pull together and fight for a much needed cure. The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia continues to provide leading results in cancer research but they need funds to keep that success going, which is why 100% of registration fees will be donated to the cancer center.
There will be prizes for the top three 5K male/female & for 1 Mile male/female overall finishers. Those who attend may also enjoy food, drinks, live music, face painters, and more!
The registration and packet pick-up begins at 7:45 a.m. on 2nd Avenue. Races will start around 9 a.m.
