“New Wheels for Joann” Fundraiser to be Held at Saint Agnes Thomas Patrick Hall, Oct. 20

Joann Rongaus, a local who recently suffered a fall that left her a paraplegic, has helped an untold number of people in the community; whether it was through the donation of great food or groceries for a family down on their luck. Joann and her husband have been an active part of the community and it’s time for people to return the favor in a big way.

Joann’s family needs assistance in purchasing a wheel chair and a handicapped accessible vehicle. With a little help from a lot of people, this grand gesture can be made. Your chance to pitch in will come on Saturday, October 20th at Saint Agnes Thomas Patrick Hall from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. Until then, be sure to like New Wheels for Joann on Facebook.

The “New Wheels for Joann” fundraiser is being held at 233 West Gay Street, which will include Italian food, beer, entertainment, raffles, and a silent auction. Those interested in supporting the wonderful cause may purchase tickets for $35 (adults) and $5 (children 4-12). Volunteers are also needed for the special night and, if something important is already penciled in your planner, feel free to donate at any time.

You may buy tickets online and call 267-264-9355 or email [email protected] for more information.

Checks may be made out to “The Joann Rongaus Fundraiser”, and sent to Wheels for Joann, 107 Furr Ave, West Chester PA, 19380.
