Summer wouldn’t be complete without a Pig Roast. Have you hit up your favorite spot yet? This year, it’s time to add a new one to the list since Paramour is hosting their first Summer Pig Roast on September 16th at 5pm. Although Summer is unofficially over before that (way to ruin the party, Labor Day), their crew still plans on throwing a top of the line, Cuban-style and locally focused Swine Dine.
The main course will be a whole, locally raised pig, slow roasted in a traditional Cuban-style roasting box and rubbed with adobo and fresh citrus juices. Paramour’s family-style buffet is set to include BBQ classics such as corn bread, baked beans, grilled seasonal vegetables and side salads. Plus, a decadent Banana Bread Pudding will complete the meal and fill your bellies to the brim.
As a bonus, Yards Brewing Company of Philadelphia will be on site to supply guests with a selection of their handcrafted ales. How’s that for a perfect complement to this tasty cuisine?
The gathering will run you just $39 per person and includes all the great food, beer, tax and gratuity. The summertime spread will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. Advance ticket purchase required. Tickets are available for purchase in person at Paramour or online through TicketLeap.
